Belle Plaine, MN–Magic has been a theme for many Hope Residence activities in the last few weeks. Residents attended a magnifying Abilities Class, “Science Behind the Magic,” which was held in Chaska, Minnesota. Those attending created their own magic wands and potions. Everyone attending thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on class, and it proved to be a very imaginative evening.
Residents also attended the Magnifying Abilities event, “A Night with a Magician,” which was held in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The night was an entertaining visual show with audience participation. Residents learned 2 tricks, which they used to amaze everyone who did not have the opportunity to attend the special night.
A magician from a nearby community entertained everyone during a performance held at The Lutheran Home: Hope Residence. He shared his amazing tricks, leaving everyone who attended wondering—how did he do that? On resident who attended the program shared, “I don’t know how he did all that, but it sure was fun to watch.”
