Augies Elite Cuisine CookingWatertown, WI–On December 20 at 1:00 p.m., Heritage Homes will host Augie’s Elite Cuisine Cooking Show.  The show will be held in Assisted Living on the third Tuesday of each month and will remain at Channel 13’s studio (in the lower level of City Hall) the rest of each month.  The theme for December 20 is “Christmas.”

Augie’s Elite Cuisine Cooking Show airs on Watertown cable Channel 13.  The concept of the show is to demonstrate how easy it is to make really elegant meals.  The star of the show, Augie Magestro says “Cooking is an art.  It is something we should all do with love and passion.”   Magestro began cooking at the age of 15.  Before he was a chef, he washed dishes and bused tables.

Augie, who also owns Perkin’s Restaurant in Watertown, has been doing the cooking show for Channel 13 for over seven years.  When the show first started, only 25 people came to view it, now it is very well attended by 80 to 100 people.  Audience members are chosen to participate in the show, and prizes are given out.

Laurie Rehm, Administrator at Heritage Homes, says, “We have the perfect space to host the show. Augie’s cooking shows are entertaining to watch and we are excited to invite the community to come and enjoy it with us.”  Attendees should follow the signs to Assisted Living.  Augie’s Elite Cuisine Catering also provides the daily dining services program for the Heritage Homes campus, located at 700 Welsh Road.
