Honoring our volunteers

volunteer“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10)

National Volunteer Appreciation Week, held April 7—13, allowed for a time to recognize, honor and celebrate Wellhaven volunteers. To celebrate our volunteers, there was photo book on display in the Fireside Lounge. The photos feature all of the different activities that volunteers help with throughout the year within our care community.

Many of our volunteers are Wellhaven tenants. They often host different activities and help to keep them running smoothly. Volunteers often help with sorting and various tasks around our care community.

"If it weren't for our hardworking dedicated volunteers, we wouldn't have Bingo every week or a puzzle always going," said Wellhaven Manager Beth Ann Schultz, LPN.
