A time for change

Change is constant. At Wellhaven Senior Living, new team members are hired, tenants moved in or more seniors joined River Falls Senior Center. One recent change for Wellhaven is team member Elly Brenna retired. As Wellhaven’s receptionist, Elly was the first to greet tenants and their family and friends. In honor of Elly’s time at Wellhaven, a celebration was recently held with tenants.

A trip to the farm

Wellhaven Senior Living tenants recently enjoyed a trip to the Sweet Rock Junction Farm just outside of River Falls. The farm is owned by Judith Hanson, niece of Wellhaven tenant Bess Knott. While on the trip, tenants watched the horses perform a variety of tricks and had the opportunity to pet them.

Free blood pressure clinic available

Wellhaven Senior Living hosts a free monthly blood pressure clinic at 10:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Upcoming dates include Oct. 18, Nov. 15 and Dec. 20. The free screenings take place in the Fireside Lounge.

Veteran Returns to River Falls to Be Close to Family

For 8 years, 4 months, and 16 days, William Ray served in the National Guard. He enlisted and joined a unit in River Falls, Wisconsin, when he was a sophomore in high school. Following graduation, he moved to the West Coast and joined the 146th Evacuation Hospital, which is part of the California National Guard.
